Y Tu Mama Tambien
(AKA: Lust For Life)

Director: Alfonso Cuarón
México´/ USA : 2001 :

It´s a great hot Mexican road movie about two young male friends (one rich and the another poor) along with an unhappy married woman who borrow a car and start to search for a nonexistent beach. During the trip they start to talk about sex all the time, and...doing sex all the the time, the woman has sex with both of the men and to make it especially nice they are naked a LOT !

Yankee Doodle in Berlin

Director: Richard Jones
USA : 1919 : 60 Mins: Filmed in Black/White
With: Bothwell Browne, Ford Sterling and Mal St. Clair:

This is a very early drag film and unlike most other early films the drag is acted by a real life female impersonator from this period. Bothwell plays both the leading lady and the flyer. Of course, just for laughs.

Young Soul Rebels

Director: Isaac Julien
UK: 1991: 105 Mins: Drama gay murder
With: Valentine Nonyela as Chris, Mo Sesay as Caz, and Shyro Chung:

The film takes place in the summer of 1977 when two black men want to bring soul music to the main stream public audience, which includes using a pirate radio station. There is both love and hate between the black and whites in this film and you think that what the film is all about but then there is a twist in the film as a gay friend of theirs gets killed in the park. The rest of the film becomes a sort of gay who done it - but I will not tell you as you should see this film.

This film takes place in a German boys school. This is not a story about love but about students who pick a victim and then use him in all sorts of nasty ways. Torless just sits back and watches as the boy is used.

A great movie based on a true story, the film takes place at a military base on the Israeli-Lebanese border which houses young soldiers, both men and women. Yossi is the leader of the group – a severe man who maintains his rigid appearance and reputation as tough at all costs. Jagger, the second-in-command, is more sensitive, despite taking his job very seriously. Once together, the two get lost in a forbidden love they try to hide from the other members of the troop. However, their efforts are threatened when a female recruit named Yaeli declares her love for Jagger. The two lovers are then forced to make a decision.

(Brazilian Title: Você Que Eu Amo )

Directors: Dmitry Troitsky & Olga Stolpovskaya
Russia, 2004, 83 Mins:
With: Damir Badmaev, Lubov Tolkalina, Evgeny Koryakovsky

The first gay-positive movie to coming from Russia; Vera, a beautiful television reporter, meets and falls in love with Tim, an advertising creative. They have a lot in common: they are underpaid, overworked and extremely stressed. The relationship is going strong until everything changes when the mysterious and very cute Iloomyi, a young Mongolian guy falls on Tim's car and Vera finds Tim in bedroom with IIoomyi. It’s a nice movie with a happy end.

Note: Exhibited in the Panorama section of the 2004 Berlin Film Festival.
