He life is thrown in a mess and all he has is his work. He gets
asigned to taking care of two German´s Alex and Pia who are brother and
sister and who´s grandfather is a wanted Nazi but it is not known if he
is alive or dead. So Eyal is there to find out. He is attracted to Pia
and likes very much Alex until he finds out that the Alex is gay.
He is happy when Alexr leaves but then is assigned to visit him in
Berlin. What happens next will solve the grandfather mystery.
Very good film which will make a lot of peopel ask themselves questions
on many subjects.

Imagine Charlie Chaplin making a gay love story, and this would be it. War story is made to look exactly like a silent comedy, complete with tinkly piano music and scratches on the celluloid. It's so authentic you're almost fooled into thinking it was made back in 1916.
The plot: Metly Morville, a plucky, but penniless lad gets a job as a waiter in the local diner. There he meets and falls in love with Ronnie, a handsome young soldier going off to fight in the Great War. This charming little story is surrounded by the usual Chaplin, Mack Sennett crowd: The fat man with the ugly mustache, the temperamental boss, the innocent young girl, the stupid old dame and the sneaky thief. There is slapstick, pratfalls, pie-throwing, clowning and sight gags. Great fun.This is how comedy was made 85 years ago, except there were no gay lovers in them.
John Baumgartner has done something quite new in an old style, and I hope he'll be making more of this. Such a sweet movie!

I love this film ! It is the story of a West Berlin boy who visits East Berlin for a day and meets and falls in love with an East Berlin boy called Westler. The feeling is mutual and the two become "day trip lovers", with the West German boy taking the trip over the border once too much and the East German border guards get suspicious and give the youth a rough time. This film gives you the feeling involved in this relationship, the difference in the everyday lives of the two, the difference in West German and the East German apartments and basically the different way the two show their love. We know that the love is doomed unless the East German boy get out of the East and somehow gets to the West and freedom. This film is simply a great film ! and has great performances by the two main actors! It also gives a cry out for freedom in all the places where there is none by showing how lovers can be separated by stupid rules of immigration - which in the end stop lovers from living their lives together. What Have I Done To
Deserve This In this crazy black humor story of a family, there appears to be only one member of the family who is "normal" and that is the gay son Miguel. You will hear the mother ask the son if he is sleeping still with his friends father. You will see a gay dentist who wants to "adopt" the you boy and the mother agreeing. This is a surprise film for me, I though it was going to be a little comedy but in effect it turned out to be a film which I liked very much. Chloé, is a young woman who lives to a gay man called Michel. Chloé loses her cat and goes searching though out the Paris neighborhood that she lives in. Surprisingly everyone she meets there wants to help her and she makes new friends also but Michel has no time to help her as is looking for a new live-in boyfriend. Watch the film and find out if Chloé gets her cat and if Michel gets his man. Phillip |

It is hard to believe this
is a film from the 1990´s. The story is about roommates who are all
around 20 or so and trying to come to terms with their lives and loves
in LA. All the straight people in this film have love and lovers in
their lives but not Banks (the handsome and smart gay guy) He is there
alone and with people calling him "Tinker bell" and worse things (which
I will not take the time to mention here). Why he hasn't a lover or at
least a one-nighter is a mystery to me. Were they trying to go back to
a film of the 50´s & 60´s where there was a gay man in each film to
talk about and make fun of. If there is ever a sequel please give the
poor guy a lover - then the others can make double fun of the two of

This is a film about homeless children, and in fact about one in particular who is called Little J. He survives the streets by stealing, selling drugs and making money by hustling. There is also Charles who is a wealthy gay man who likes young boys. He gets off by having the young boys telling him about sex. Well he picks up Little J and has a few encounters with the boy (who gives Charles who he wants to hear). Charles feels close to the boy and even tries to touch him tenderly but the boy is repulsed by this tender act. Meanwhile Little J goes back to Charles and lives with him for a few days and all is going well till Charles finds out that Little J has a gun and tells him to get out. The boy pulls the guy on Charles but Charles pleads with Little J not to kill him and to find out what happens next see the film. Phillip |

Where the Sun Beats Down
Nuno is from a well to do family and has lived in the city but he decides to return home to his sister's farm. What happens is that Nuno enters into a relationship with a working class guy called Alberto. This stirs up trouble due to the differences in their social status and with Nuno´s snobby family. This is a good film to watch for all of us who come from countries where is there no real social class system. The thought of a young socially rich guy falling for a lower class poor guy always seems so romantic to me but I guess in real life it only brings problems! Phillip |

gays. At first this film is strange but as you get into it –
you see it is quite interesting and certainly worth a see ! Oh by the

This filming of D.H. Lawrence's book which has four friends in it - two of who are men. They are Jerold and Rupert. Rupert is what we would call a Bisexual - he can not limit his love to just a woman but needs a man too and he looks to Jerold for this but the feelings are not returned. everything turns upside down in his life as he becomes involved with
a dog murder, a robbery of a Marilyn Monroe´s coat and to top
that he loses 2600 pages of his new novel plus his agent (Robert
Downey Jr) had sex with a student (Maguire) in his home.
The
three main gay characters are Robert Downey Jr. who plays a VERY gay
agent and is dating a drag queen and there are also two brilliants
students (Maguire and Holmies),

This is the story of two young lower class gay boys who decided to run away from it all, but in doing so they witness a paid murder and see the guy doing his job this time with a sword. They run as fast as they can to not be killed themselves and end up in a great gay bar called "The Wonderland". One of the boys enters a dance contest and wins by taking most of his clothes off but the fun ends as the killer is again after them. They then hook up with a closeted opera star and are taking away to the coast where they think they are safe. One of the boys is used by the opera star for his sexual fun and the other one seems to want to be used by him (but is not). Anyway the film then takes a turn in another direction so see this sometimes funny and sometime sad but really interesting film. You'll be happy you watched it as it is very well filmed and the boys are fun to watch! Phillip |

This was a groundbreaking documentary when it was made and is an absolute must for gays and lesbians to see as it tells the story of 26 gay / lesbians lives and their age is ranging from with gay people from 18 to 77 years old. , their coming out and their living the "gay life". See this really good and highly recommended film and you will be happy you did. Phillip |

This must have been some kiss as he becomes obsessed with this man and enters into a "sort of relationship" with this slightly crazy hustler. The relationship is doomed from the beginning but like all love affairs - the boy does not know that this relationship will be his down fall ! Phillip
