This is the story of
George a teacher who is gay. He has just had a break-up with his lover
and needs a place to stay. He ends temporary at Nina´s apartment and
then ends up staying. Nina has a boyfriend but when she gets pregnant
she soon realizes that he is not the right one for her or her future
baby She decides that George is the right one and soon falls in love
with him even though he is gay. The two try to work out a
relationship but George soon learns that he is not cut-out to be in
that relationship and know that he could be a good father but not her
lover. Phillip Note: I watched this film twice in a few days as the first impression was that I did not like the part about the girl falling in love with the gay and the gay trying to fall in love with the girl but in the second viewing I realized this part of the story takes only only 15 minutes but that the rest of the film is a must see ! Watch the film and judge for yourself ! The actors in this film give excellent performances. |

The enters Elliot who is straight and engaged until he meets Corin and then he proceeds to fall in love with him. Then the problems begin. The two main characters are often in a state of undress and very nice to look at. Anyway intrest story line about how what happens when gays and straights mix. Phillip

This is one of the more progressive Hong Kong films and traces the lives of three gay men. The three have been friends since they were boy and now share an apartment. The three are quite different. Hoi is into picking up men and then dropping them. Fa is having a depression as he has just broken up with his lover. Kau is a flaming queen and nicknames Miss Kau. All seems perfect for a really good script till it takes a change for the worse. One becomes a heterosexual (how that works I do not know !). One finds out he is HIV Positive and does something terrible. Only the third friend comes out OK. A little depressing but with this much gay content a must see. Phillip Note: Films from Hong Kong are really well done and tackle gayness very well but they still have a way to go as they seem to be locked in the old Hollywood style of killing off gays or making them turn straight when the "right" woman comes along. Too bad as this film had everything to make it a really good gay film. |

I have not yet had the chance to
see this film but I have read that the plot goes like this: It is
the story to two twin brothers (who star and direct this film)
who live in Germany. Due to their social status and the economic
conditions within German and Europe they become Skin-heads.
One
of the twins leads the other one, who discovers that he is gay. The
twins have problems with each other when the dominant one discovers
that his twin is gay and hanging around with a guy who is NOT
homosexual but IS a leftist. Phillip

This is the story of a
young man who comes into contact with a female vampire, who he both
loves and hates. When his two school friends find out about her they
get him in the locker room showers and strip him to see if he has on
his body the bites of the vampire. Unhappily for him they are seen in
the shower and the rumor gets around the school that he and the two
boys were having gay sex. You can imagine how this effects a straight
boy!. There is also a drag queen that might get his/her man. Phillip |

Director : Ross Crookshank
UK: 1996: 35 Minutes.: Gay:
Gabriel lives London ( a hot
place to get men) and he is always out and cruising for new men
to have sex with. It is almost an obsession for him. There are many
flashbacks to his youth and his life.
Note: This is the first
film made by Ross Crookshank and is both a really good film and an
erotic gay film with nice British boys. This is a must on your list
of films to see. I can hardly wait to see what he films next. Phillip

Director: Stewart Main
The time and place is Auckland New Zealand 1965: Jamie and Lemmy hang out, listen to love songs on the radio, joke about poofters and homos and even try to "out" one of their own teachers at school. When they see a handsome guy, they stare at him, but can't admit that they find him attractive. This is a strange coming-of-age film from the director who made "Desperate remedies". mini-series made for BBC-TV and is the story of Jess who is a young
Lesbian and in the process of her coming out but standing in the way is
her mother who is a “domineering Evangelist”. The filming of the

that Jeanette Winterson not only wrote the book “Oranges Are Not the
Only Fruit” but the screen story also. Phillip |

ORIGIN
OF AIDS, THE

This film is another one in the list of films which try to trace the origin of AIDS. In this one it is thought that is came from a polio vaccine (in the 50´s) try out in Africa by Belgium, French and USA. It believes that the blood used was animal and tainted. I am not sure we will ever know the orgins but i am sure there wil be more films trying to probe where it came from. Phillip

AKA: La Virgen de los Sicarios In the city of Meddelin in Colombia, Our Ladies Of Assassins, is an adaptation of the workmanship of the writer Fernando Vallejo. In the film Fernando comes back to his native city, Bogota, thirty years later and and he falls in love with a young fascinating guy called Alexis. The director obtained to
transform for the screens a history of sensuality, danger and suspense
involving a older man and a youngster of 16 years in a tram of devilish
murders, where who wants that it crosses its path disappears
mysteriously. The passion between the two becomes violent more sexy
and, culminating with the death of the young. NOTE: Fernando Vallejo, who wrote Blank the La original of Los Sicarios, lives in Mexico and guided the adaption personally. The director, Barbet Shroeder, were previously assistant to Jean-Luc Godard, looked from the beginning for actors with the condition that they were able to physically in their roles transmit a homosexual relationship naturally. Film in digital camera of high quality with German Jaramillo, Anderson Ballesteros and Juan David Retrepo. Claudio |

James and Donald are lovers. Donald is sick and dying from Aids. James has a good relationship with his mother Audrey Grant (played by Julie Andrews) whereas Donald and his mother Luanne Barnes (played by Ann-Margret) have not talked for years. James goes to his mother and asks her to go to Fayetteville Arkansas to tell Donalds mother that her son Donald is dying. When they meet the two women couldn't be more different or come from different backgrounds. One is a successful business woman and the other is of the working class and just as in real life the educated business woman is able to accept her son being gay where as the working class mother just can not accept it. The meeting of the two woman is great cinema and the performances are top and this in a mode for television production - this is a first class production. How it all works out I won't tell you so see the movie - but one interesting thing to note is that Hugh Grant plays the gay James ! Phillip |

Outing Riley

Riley
is an Irish Catholic man, with 3 brothers and a sister. He is also
gay, closeted to his family. He thinks they won't love him anymore if
he told the truth. Only his sister knows, and she is doing everything
in her power to out him.
Now, this movie was actually quite
good... Directed by the man who won the "Project greenlight"
TV-series, Pete Jones has made a funny, old fashioned, well acted and
scripted film. The story has constant surprises:
There is a scene where Riley is spying on a naked girl which is accompanied by a voice-over saying: "Well, I became a voyeur long before I was gay!" Michael McDonald (from MadTV) plays Riley's boyfriend, with a solid helping of mascara to underline his character's gayness.Yngvar

This is a musical comedy take
off of all the Wizard of OZ films with one difference this one has
gay characters in it.
It is the story of Dorothy who is of
course, 16 years old. She is a groupie and is traveling with a rock
band on tour. The bus has an accident and she bangs her head. When
she wakes up she is in a fantasy land and learns that she has
killed
a nasty criminal and as a reward she gets a pair of red shoes from a
gay clothes designer who is called the good fairy and
sets her on her way to the last concert of the Wizard (who is a
androgynous rock singer). The criminals brother is following her and
tries to rape her on a few occasions. To go with her on her trip to
get to the concert are “a dumb blond Surfie, Greaseball
the mechanic, and Killer the Bikie”. Phillip
