Dev (ShahRukh), a former football player, is married to college sweetheart
Riya (Preity). Riya is a very successful fashion magazine editor and Dev is not
able to tolerate her success.
Maya (Rani), a school teacher, is married to
his childhood friend Rishi (Abhishek). Maya always dreamed about a fairy tale
love and she is not able to accept Rishi.
Both Maya and Dev feel lonely and
left alone in their families. This loneliness brings them together. With time,
this friendship turns into love - but life is not always simple. Rishi's dad,
Samarjit, finds about their love and dies of shock. Now Maya and Dev have to
choose either their family or their love.
Will they sacrifice their love for
the sake of their family or will they destroy their family for love to be with
each-other.

0 This film is just too much it is billed as a romantic comedy about 7 pairs who are end up at the Kilometer 0 bar.
It is VERY HOT out but there is still time for love and romance in Spain. A man who is about to be married want to have sex with a whore as he is a virgin. Another chats up a sex partner and wants to meet him for sex and it turns out to be someone else who is a Flamingo dancer ( a real hunk). An older woman whats to have sex with a call boy and after the sex ends up thinking it is her son which she gave away at birth. There is even a gay angle and he almost has sex with the shy straight guy.

What happens next is that the transvestite works with the shoe factory new owner and they decide that the only way to save the factory and help transvestites find the right boots is to form an co-alliance to get the factory back on its feet. As you can image the small town is anit-gay until the gtet to know the transvestite better and slowly he becomes a part of the team. Before Alfred Kinsey sex was only talked about under the table but when he came on the scene he started to do research info the human sexuality. He tried out his bisexuality with his own assistant and so was able to write first hand about these subjects. The film is well made and VERY intressting. He did more for helping people find out about their sexuality then most people had done all together at that time. A well spent and educational look back and well worth the 118 mins spent watching it ! Phillip

Gay Interest : Most probably the first drag act of Bollywood and the best to date. In one scene to hide from the gangsters, Vicky and Roma dress as woman and man respectively and sing and dance on stage. So there is a double drag act in this movie.

Yes, Yes I sat through this entire film to see George Sanders as a gay San Francisco drag queen and a black spy who is a Lesbian. In the 1970´s it was thrilling to see these characters on screen but not with all the new wonderful totally gay films being made this is only worth a look and then have it archived under Gay History of the Film. Phillip Note : if I were you I would rent the cassette and fast forward till you see an old transvestite - watch this scene and the fast forward till you see a black woman taking advantage of a young girl. I know one of the guys who made it! (Go, Stageway, go!) 2. There is a lesbian wedding in it. It's basically a straight comedy about rich, successful and beautiful Norwegians f***ing around while wishing for that one true love that will bring them lifelong happiness. Nothing new there. The leading man (Giertsen, stand-up comedian making his film debut) suspects that his new lover is a lesbian who just wants his sperm. He's wrong. She still gets pregnant, though, but he didn't do it. They still love each other through it all. Huh?? Straights lead such difficult love lives!!
