With:
Aidan Quinn as Michael Pierson, Ben Gazzara as Nick Pierson, Gena
Rowlands as
Katherine Pierson, Sylvia Sidney as Beatrice McKenna and D.W. Moffett
as Peter
Hilton:
-
- This
is one of the very early Made for TV films With: the subject of AIDS.
It is the
story of what happens when parents discover that Michael Pierson, their
Lawyer
son who is young and has his whole life ahead of him, has AIDS and at
the same
time they are confronted With: the fact that he is gay. It is very
difficult for
both the parents, friends and the son to deal With: the fact that in
the end he
will die (there wasn't much hope of surviving back when this film was
made and
that is what this TV film is all about An early AIDS TV film which
deals, no
only With: the subject of AIDS and coming out but tried back then to be
both
moving and honest (as honest as it can be for American TV film could
be) It
was, for many the first look at AIDS and even at a gay person. You
should see
it, if only for the wonderful performance of the Grandmother played by
Sylvia
Sidney.

- Director:Yuan
Zhang Ritchie Hawtin
- China:
1997: 94 mins: Gay Main Character
- With:
Jessica Monroe and John Acquaviva:
-
- I
was really excited to see this film as it came from China and had a gay
main
character. As I watch the film, I
realized that I did not understand the mentality of this film and may
never
understand it. It is the story of a young gay guy who is arrested by a
Beijing
policeman. There is a night long interrogation between the two and
sometime
during this the policeman makes the gay get in drag. I can guess this
is
because he is attracted to the gay and can not accept or understand
this
situation. In the end he lets the gay go and if they will ever see each
other
again - I do not know ! Anyway the film is worth seeing if you like
other
cultures and films from foreign places.

Vincent D'Onofrio as Orson Welles, Bill Murray as Bunny Breckenridge,

-
- I
couldn't believe that Hollywood would make a movie based on the life of
the
Worst Director of All Time, who was known for his love of women's
sweaters -
pink if possible. That Johnny Depp accepted the part was also a shock
and that
he would play the director of the all time worst film (fun to watch for
laughs)
Glen or Glenda and in the end it all came together and the film got
made. Watch
Glen and Glenda first and then see this film. I am still not sure if he
was
gay, a transvestite or what but I am sure he was one of the first in
Hollywood
and in the end he made a name for himself in history.

that they
are lovers.

doesn't save them from becoming monster lunch, but it's a nice touch...

Why

- I
had to watch this film two times as I saw the original version With:
English
sub-titles and I was too busy reading them in order to get the story

I had to watch it a second time to see the film.
- I
can tell you I really like this film. It shows all the negative things
which
people think about gays and in this film they actually say them so be
prepare
to hear negative talk about us but I must say the positive talk and
actions win
out in the end. You are not often let into the minds of people who
dislike Gays
but in this film it really explores this side of life.
- It
is the story of a major Iceland football league and a star who decides
to come
up of the closet and tell the world he is gay. He suffers getting
fired, having
his family and son trying to make him say his is straight when he is
not in

- He
goes through every situation With: pride and try to handle it all that
is
thrown at him.
- He
joins a team which has a few gay players and he falls in love With: one
of them
although he is VERY handsome (the kind of guy you would learn the local
language in order to speak With: him on long winter nights) he is to
new at it
all to keep a relationship going. Anyway there are set backs but it all
comes
to a head at the end of the film. This is a must see... and I hope I
get a
chance to see more films by this director and more films from Iceland.
- Oh
by the way they worked a Iceland Gay pride day and parade into the film
(looks
like a great time there) along With: Iceland gay bar scenes plus there
is more
shower nudity then I have even seen in one film including nice sex
scenes. So

-
- Director:
Ron Peck
- UK
: 1987 : 104 Mins : Thriller
- With:
Martin Landau, Lee Drysdale, Ian Sears, Catherine and Ray McAnally:
-
- This
film is very hard to describe as there are many many characters in the
film who
interplay With: each other. Among them is Martin Landau playing a
bisexual
business man who likes to be roughed up by men, and Lee Drysdale who is
a
hustler working many hours at his trade to make enough money to go to
the USA.
Then the subplot is that a former male prostitute and a young Turk are
trying
to take over a gay/straight nightclub. The nightclub owner is played by
Ray
McAnally. This is basically a thriller where gays are used to help the
plot. A
very interesting film all in all.

Jørgen react to this? What will

“date

funny, childish and
sometimes obvious. But the male stars are cute and cuddly, so
you’ll enjoy

another Teenie film This film is here mainly for fun although there is
a small
amount of gay stuff in the film. .It´s the story of Scotty
and some of his
friends who end up in Europe to find Scotty´s E-mail German
girlfriend. They
travel throughout Europe to find her. There is a very funny scene in
the train
as there comes a gay man in their compartment and each time the train
goes
through a tunnel there is a blackout and a try by the gay guy to have a
“quickie” With: the boys (all in fun ). Also there

fun too). Anyway if you have 1 1/2 hours to spare and want just a fun
film this
is for you but if you have a really good gay film to watch see that
first !!

- Director:
Stanley Kubrick
- USA
1999
- With:
Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman:
-
- This
intriguing film raises a lot of questions about sexuality, power and
attraction. There’s a wonderful scene near the end where a
gay hotel clerk,
played to the max by Alan Cumming, turns a conversation With: Tom
Cruise into a
series of flirtatious moves and looks. He thinks Tommy boy is simply
gorgeous
looking, and wants to signal it! Tom appears not to notice.- but in one
scene
young guy pass Tom Cruise and start calling queer names...this he
notices ! Oh
at the sex party there are two naked men dancing together and two naked
women
dancing together and are definitely gay and lesbian.
- PS:
If you want a good read, try David Ehrenstein’s book

is an entire chapter devoted to Tom Cruise, and the stories that have
circulated in the media about him.
