Phillip Stiewert was born in New York City U.S.A. but left for Brussels - Belgium and then for Frankfurt am Main - Germany, where he now makes his home. He is married to his life partner Frank and has taken his last name -he was born as Phillip Carl.

He started working on the English movie reviews and started Movies TOO Gay in 1996 and worked on them alone till 2000 (when Claudio Taveira (Brazil) and Yngvar Myrvold (Norway) and in 2004 Danny Halim (Netherlands) joined us to bring Internation and hard to find local movie reviews which brings a truly International flavor Movies TOO Gay.

He handles all the updates and the layout items for Movies Too Gay along with heading the team.

Kim Madison (Kimmy) lives in Australia with her lifelong partnerSamantha.and her two cats. She saw the announcement that Movies TOO Gay was looking for a Lesbian film reviewer and she knew immediatley that this was what she wanted to do. Besides liking Queer films she loves the classics and foreign language films. 

She has been a High School teacher and is now doing training of personel. She is very happy with her life , work and partner so given this situtation she is able to start writing the reviews immediately and thus fill the Movies TOO Gay hole in getting Lesbian & queer film reviews on-line to inform our readers.

So now is the start of what we hope will be a rewarding service to our readers. Since we are a non profit service and do not accept pop up ads or anthing like that - this is the love of film that makes all of us do the reviewing.

Yngvar Myrvold lives in a small town in Norway.

He is a teacher of drama, music, computers and English. Has experience in theater-acting and script-writing for local and national radio and has recently worked on a short film plus played a bear in a play!

His major interest and love (besides his lover) is Gay/Queer movies. When he found Movies TOO Gay and sent a mail to Phillip praising him for his great, entertaining and important work., Phillip wrote him back a thank-you-note. Quickly.

As a close relationship formed and Phillip invited Yngvar to input his reviews to Movies TOO Gay. Well he started reviewing films and low and behold has added rarely seen films from the
Scandinavia countries beside reviewing International hits too. 

He says of his work for - Movies TOO Gay is exactly where I want to be and I want to continue doing the reviews so please read the reviews of the rarely seen movies which I find.

Claudio Taveira lives in and is our eyes in Brazil and beside reviewing films in his own language and he has been hard at work to discover films in Spanish and International films which he collects the videos / DVD´s in his many trips around the world.

He too discovered Movies TOO Gay wrote to Phillip and a relationship developed until Claudio took the steps to write and now is part of the Movies TOO Gay team.

We look forward to receiving many new film reviews from him and his hard searching of Gay / Queer films especially in the South American market of films.

Manish Agrawal lives in India and in joining Movies TOO Gay he will be able to open our eyes to a Large Film market which does in fact have films with gay characters and even some new one with main gay characters. 

By having these films written about we hope that his country will be exposed to gays / lesbians / bisexuals / transgender and transvestites. We hope that he will write for us for many many years and that in doing so people will start to watch and want to see Indian films. 

I hope that we will be able to add the Indian film festivals to our listings and expose them to the gay public.
